We focus on freshness, quality, and consistentcy. All our matcha is stonemill in-house with Japanese Ishi-Usu under a temperature and humidity controlled environment. This allow us to provide exceptional quality, unique flavours while preseving the highest nutrient benefits of matcha.
The milling part is as important as the farming.
ORIGINS & SUSTAINABILITY
When sourcing our tencha for matcha and for brews, each of them is thought through and addressed to a wide range of flavours. From light refreshing to deep & earthy to sweet & creamy to umami, the endless possibilities continues.
Like coffee or wine, Tencha also differs by "Producing Area", "Cultivar", "Harvesting" and "Processing". Each has its unique taste and distintive flavour notes. At Aokomi, you will tasate the difference between our rare selection of single-origin Matcha.
In collaborations with leading tea farmers in Japan, we continue to explore the possibilities and pioneer methods of growing that deliver extraordinary tencha and is good for the environment.

Through the. ‘Farm to Mill’ concept, Aokomi brings value direct back to the tea farmers and what the tea growers have been doing and producing for generations.
